acnl: day 10 (now with pictures)

it's been 10 days since i began my town (queequeg) and i've managed to build 4 town projects (2 bridges, 1 stone tablet/sculpture, and 1 campsite) and unlocked the garden center. as of this morning, had the dream suite added to the project list so that's the next project to start on the list. i've gotten mabel the hedgehog to open up so the qr code reader should unlock soon as well. nook junction is upgrading 5 november so by wednesday, the town will have a convenience store -- that means better selection of goods and furniture so i'll finally be able to add more furniture to my house. it looks like kicks, the shoe store, is under construction as well. i unlocked the island about 2 or 3 days after i began the game so i've been grinding for bells ($) there so i'll have enough to pay for the projects as well as my home loan. because of all the grinding on the island, i've caught lots of fish and the sea creatures area of my museum is looking great. amongst other things, i've caught a whale shark, a saw shark and as of yesterday, i caught a hammerhead shark too. i've also managed to buy a real sculpture from redd so around day 14 or so, 2nd floor of the museum should unlock into the project list. i've gotten at least 1 thing donated from every category (bugs, fish, sea creatures, works of art) so all i need do is wait out the time and it should unlock numerous things for the museum.

changed my outfit to something more autumn/winter themed
this is one of my citizens, hans the white gorilla, who is flirting with me. yes, it was as awkward and weird as you would imagine.
my pride and joy is my sea creatures exhibit at the museum. everything at the museum is donated by your character.
