A/N - So I know I have been MIA for a LONG but I really needed to experience Real Life again. Not saying I'm turning my back from PepSi and LHDP but with the recently articles coming out about LHDP (new characters, storylines, Marian Aguliera definitely not coming back), I just had to get away.

I'm still going to watch LHDP, I just know it's going to be different. It is turns out S9 is going to be horrible, I might have to stop watching it.

angie005, gosmio18, I'll be with you watching S9 of LHDP even though I admit it will be really hard. Hearing about all the new actors/characters being brought in, the storylines the writers are apparently going to follow, etc is really just making me shake my head in befuddlement, wondering what the hell they're doing. (The again, TPTB wrote that finale in the first place, so I guess I shouldn't put much faith in them anymore.)

The only reason I'm watching is for Laura and her kick ass, awesome acting, beauty and integrity that she brings to Pepa. Trust me when I say, I'm an uber fan of Laura's to still watch after S8! ;D

Wow, thanks for posting again! I think what you wrote in your A/N is right for any fan who felt a connection to the PepSi story - right now, working on my own fic is one of the ways I keep from remembering that gawd awful finale.

But I loved your start - so sweet and tender how Pepa kisses Silvia's pic every day. Tho I wonder what she has planned with biding her time doing desk duty! And running every forensics inspector out of the lab and barracading herself in - LOL! Wonderful!

And that ending! I had my hand at my mouth when I saw that the mafia were about to infiltrate - are we gonna get some kick ass Pepa when she roots them out? I hope so! Like av8rwinn said, I hope LHDP can hold a candle to what you've done. This is the first fanfic I've read that made me feel there's hope for the direction of the show next season.

Two months ago, I sent in my resume with a portofolio to Alex Pina. He wrote back and said it was so good he burned it in a bonfire. Just Kidding!!

I have a feeling LHDP will be neglecting Montoya and Silvia also. We probably will never their names in the show ever again. If they remotely mention their names, I'd probably go crazy and have to write about it LOL

Hear, hear, you should write for the show! That broke my heart as well to see Pove in a wheelchair but so hartwarming to see Pepa thinking that he deserved his good review.

That was a great start. I'm with you, the whole LHDP situation and the drastic change it seems the show is moving towards is unsettling. It is hard to even think about trying to watch the show without knowing that you'll see a smile between Pepa and Silvia soon.

I don't dare attempt to write fanfic to move on, I'll just read the greatness that is on this forum. So thank you for returning with such an original concept, I'm looking forward to where it will go.

Oh and the beginning with Pepa talking to the picture of Silvia and kissing it, so heart-pulling, it was spot on for the character. I loved it.
