Today I FAILED my co-op term in the summer.

I guess one downside is that you don't have to deal with a UW coordinator visiting you, don't need to get the co-op evaluation filled out at EOT, and don't have to deal with CECS anymore in regards to your summer job. Darn it.

The downside is that now you have a failed co-op term on your co-op summary it'll be hard to get your next co-op job. Trust me, I know. The first co-op a job I interview'd for wanted to know why I didn't have previous co-op experience and didn't hire me. Or maybe it's because they thought I was a chem eng until I explained in the interview that I'm not... either way.

Downside... or maybe not! angie_spuc March 9 2007, 17:48:14 UTC
Except, that was my last one, and I don't have to do anymore to graduate. I'm on my last co-op right now. W00t failure!

Actually, I knew that, that's why I put the problem of getting another co-op job as a (non-)downside. In reality, it's not necessarily a big issue even - one of my friends did the same thing you did (failed the co-op job to take a job she actually wanted) and she had crazy interviews and several offers for this term, even with the failed term.
