I'm always a bit reluctant to re-watch some programme I saw (and loved) as a child or teenager. Because so often what appeared magical / terrifying to the child's mind with its seemingly limitless ability to suspend disbelief can just look plain pathetic when you watch it many years later as an adult.
And then the memory's a bit spoiled.
