This made me lol - the part where Deidara blew up one of Sasori's puppets to engage in "artistic collaboration." I also like how Itachi barely speaks and everyone else replies to his tiniest gestures as though they were words.

A collaboration by blowing up one of Sasori's puppets? Only Deidara would think of that as collaborating :D

Itachi sure has high standards :P

Strangely enough I never thought of them as teenagers until I read this.
Deidara maybe, but Itachi always seemed somewhat mature beyond his years (or maybe it's just because of that stoic expression or the way be deals with Kisame).
Anyways I found that view on him highly amusing.
I bet he really would act like that if he had to deal with all the confusing hormones.

I also found it hard to see them as teenagers at first since they, as you say, act so mature (which I guess you'd have to do if you had to kill your entire family), so that's kind of why I wanted to write this. And maybe that maturity is just how they act in business, no one know what goes on off stage:P

I guess they would totally ruin the organisations reputation by acting like that on missions.
But hornestly, imagining that makes them appear so much more human it's heart-warming.

Yes, whiny teenagers might seem frightening to some, but for an evil organisation stiving for world dominion it might not be the best image:P

I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it, and thank you for bothering to comment on such an old entry! In case my LJ is confusing here's a link to the rest of the series.
(Yes, I'm shamelessly pimping my own fic:P)
