Just siniging a song won't change the world

Well, I'm back home after an intense weekend, to say the least. But it was fun. I mean, how can it go bad when the first thing I saw when I entered the house was two Assorted Bird hanging in the window?

Anyway, a new Neil You ablum was released last Wednesday! So, naturally, here's a ( Fork in the Road review )

review, neil young

I have only listened to it once and a half, almost twice so I haven't formed any strong opinions of it yet. Other than the first impressions of course and I found that when it comes to music those are often wrong. Or maybe not wrong, more not particularly accurate. What I'm trying to say is, that the songs you like in the beginning are more often than not not those which will become your favourties later. Or maybe that's just me, I don't know.

Anyway.

The songs I've heard the most are Johnny Magic and Fork in the Road, naturally, since they were released before the album, so I guess that they are my favourite right now *only* because I know them pretty well by now. I like Fuel Line, I think the accompaniment is rather reminiscent of Led Zeppelin and there are also some elements that reminds me of Sweet Home Alabama and that just amuses me^^ I must say that I don't really care for, at least not yet, Cough Up The Bucks, it brings back bad memories of Axl's rapping...

I really like Just Singing a Song though, and I WAS THERE TOO! :
