Today I, for reasons unknown, had a fit of Ouran nostalgia and started re-watching the anime. It's still hilarious. And I'm still a little bit in love with Mori.

I also, completely unrelatedly, listened to this song over and over again until M thought I was crazy.

It shouldn't be that great, but it is. It also shouldn't make me feel so happy, but it

randomness, ouran

I got nothing but love for all things mentioned in this entry :D

(Though I only had to read "Rainbow Since" to get the song stuck in my head and then I scrolled down and saw AC/DC and Back In Black started "playing" instead and now it's all very confusing..)

:)

Sounds confusing. Think of the Indiana Jones theme instead. Duuh-duh-duh-duuuuh...

Don't you mean La de swinge la de rock'n'roll, la de swinge til du mister all kontroll? :)

OT (but kind of related to your previous entry) this is a quote from one of my school books called Reading Matters: "Attitudes are changing as research accumulates that demonstrates the value of pleasure reading in the making of confident readers - but not quite as fast enough, as one of us discovered in an encounter with a teacher who dismissed a ninth-grade student's request to read The Fellowship of the Ring for a book report, claiming that Tolkien's book is 'a trivial story written at the grade five or six level'" ...

No, I most definitely mean the Indiana Jones theme:P

That's about the stupidest thing I've ever heard, "grade five or six level" pft. I thought LotR was kind of hard when I read it in seventh grade, and I read a lot back then. And I'm not even going to comment on the "trivial story" part... I'm going to spend this whole semester examining the complexities of evil in that trivial story thankyouverymuch.
