I usually don't write about politics here (I usually don't care too much about politcs), but I just have to express my disappointment at the fact that we now have a xenophobic party in the Swedish parliament. I really thought people had more sense than that.
And now for something completely different...

1. Why did you first pick up the book?
My boyfriend kept talking of how great it was, but when I said I was not going to read it (I never thought I'd find the time,I mean, look at the size of them!), he re-told most of the plot from the first book and it sounded pretty awesome. Then he told me there were canon gay ships.
2. Who is your favourite character?
Dany and Jaime. And Tyrion. And Sandor and Tommen and ser Flement Brax and the Drowned God and Jon and Shagga...
3. What is your favourite canon ship?
Renly/Loras, obviously, but also Khal Drogo/Daenerys.
4. What is your favourite non-canon ship?
Dany/Jon, Jaime/Brienne and Sandor/Sansa
5. Who is your least favourite character?
Ygritte
6. What is your least favourite canon ship?
Jon/Ygritte
7. What is your favourite theory?
R+L=J
8. Who is going to be the Stark in Winterfell in the end?
There is a risk that Rickon will be the only surviving Stark in the end, if he spends the rest of the books hiding in some cave with Osha, but I'm hoping for Bran.
9. What is your favourite scene?
Oh, there are so many good ones. When Dany comes out of the fire with the dragons is awesome. And when Jaime saves Brienne from the bear.<3
10. You can sleep with anyone from the books, who?
I want to say Jon, but seeing as how he's the same age as my students I'll go for Ned instead.
11. You can kill anyone from the books, who?
Hm, GRRM already did for Joffrey and Lysa, so I'll go for Melisandre.
12. What is your favourite quote?
Basically everything Tyrion says. But Littlefinger's "You can show a king to the water, but with JOff you had to splash it around before he realised he could drink it" is a classic.

Lannister

Brax! Purple unicorn ftw!
15. Say something positive about Catelyn. Come on, you can do it...
I don't see what everyone has against Catelyn. Okay, it was her fault that Ned went to King's Landing in the first place and kidnapping Tyrion was not the best of ideas. And she should have just stayed dead. But she's not as bad as her sister.
16. Which character is next in line to be horribly mangled/disfigured?
Well, being a Stark is never safe, but they tend to die rather than just being disfigured... Perhaps Margaery Tyrell?
17. Who's your favourite royal bastard?
Tommen!
18. How will the series end?
Dany comes to the Wall, her dragons eat the Others, she and Jon fall in love, kick everyone's ass and live happily ever after.
