YES WE DO!
Okay, so I didn't find the first eposode of A Game of Thrones very eventful, it felt most like a long introduction (until the very end, that is. That scene shocks me even more every time I think about it:S), but the sets, costumes, enviroment, acting ect was all brilliant. The steampunky opening felt a bit OT, but it looked cool. All in

I didn't like the white walkers and had pictured Winterfell differently but that is my only objections. Overall I think they did a really great job.
The making themselves pretty for the king scene was so random. Not that I object to it or anything... <.<
Dany is so pretty and Visy is so creepy. I loved the intro, even though it felt a bit random. Sansa is so annoying (I know she gets better but this is the first book. Hence, she is annoying my gods can she just go away). Bran is so annoying too for that matter, if your mother tells you not to climb on the wall, don't fucking climb on the wall. Speaking of which, Jaime, I hate you. (First book remember?) I'm just rambling now, I should get back to my paper.
Those twitter reactions! I love twitter, I really do. Despite it's knack for wanting me facepalm a lot. Though I suppose that isn't twitter as much as mankind itself heh.

I just got what you meant with "GoT awesomeness?" "Yes we do!". omg I'm so ashamed of myself :|
Totally valid reason for a scene. Er...just how old are they? The actors, not the characters I mean.
Joffrey is the only one I can look at and think "You're going to die" without feeling sad about it.
lol I missed the Meat Loaf tweet. I saw the other one though xD. It might make me elitist but I love seeing the reactions of people who haven't read the books. The poor, innocent unknowing bastards.

Well, better late than never:P
According to wikipedia Richard Madden was born in -86 and Kit Harrington attended primary school between -92 and -98, so they're actually older than us. That feels good to know. No pedo-warning on us:P
Lol, yes Joff is really one of those characters who you wish would die, but who never does. Except for in asoiaf.
It is fun to see the reactions of non-readers. If they're shocked and outraged by Bran's fall, just wait until we get to the Red Wedding...
