I guess, in my family, when they are worried about you, they express it in a way that only sound like rough criticism.

IIRC they once asked some ppl from an Eastern Block country if they see the Russians as family or as friends. They said as family coz u chooze your friends... I love that one. I love my parents though sometimes aspects of them would drive me crazy if I let them...
