Sensitive kitty

Didn't sleep much last night. My young kitty,Hiss, had a difficult night. I'm not sure what caused it, but around midnight he jumped up into my lap and then went completely limp and stopped breathing for a few seconds. I shook him and he snapped out of it. Then several minutes later, he did it again. Then the rest of the night, his heart beat would

I'm sorry to hear that. That is heart-rending. I love my cats very much.
I once called in late because my cat got out and wouldn't respond when I called him. Neither of my current cats. This was a cat that really did respond when I called him by name, so that was distressing. I lived by a busy road and was very worried.
