Old friends: my Christmas cards are addressed, but they're going to be late (sigh). Thanks for sending me such beautiful ones... yours will be arriving well before the New Year. The good news is that I've got all the addys in a labels file now, so I can do this Thanksgiving weekend next time

Sparkle on D.V.D. All I have to say is IT'S ABOUT TIME WARNER BROTHERS!!!

And to think it probably took Dreamgirls for them to get up off of their arses and re-release this thing properly. I love it.

I guess Dreamgirls will be this generation's Sparkle. We will have to see if it stands the test of time. (Somehow I doubt it, because let's face it, Sparkle + Stix = Love. Jamie can hang it up.)

Anyway, we'll be there on Monday. I can't wait.
