Inevitably, people live down to your lowered expectations and sometimes don't even meet that much. My life has been completely happy and actually fun since I've told myself that the couple thing is not really all that it's cracked up to be.

I honestly don't think that I'm lying to myself about that. Memories belong in the past. It's much better that way.
