Today. Was. Fun.

I think...

1st Hour: Did group extra credit for chem. Hard stuff...

2nd Hour: Ran warm-up laps and played tennis. The usual.

3rd Hour: Eh...Long told us his "stories" again. It's very very very entertaining. "Cuándo pasamos por la aduana encontraron doce onzas de cocaína en la maleta de mi madre."

4th Hour: We all fried. :)

Went to the Ford assembly plant thing yesterday. I absolutely love their chairs. Extremely comfortable and they turn 360.

After the movies, we saw how they made trucks. This employee lady had the coolest shoes! I can't even explain it...just too cool.

My grandparents came over on Sunday...

They forgot we had a dog. So my grandma was freaking out. Maggie was freaking out. And Aileen was freaking out. Lots of yelling involved.

I met Liz's freshmaaaan! I agree..he is a cute kiddie. But they've been telling him stories about me behind my back...now he thinks I'm some sort of freakish...spazzy... ( Read more... )

First day of school....is crap.

I managed to lose both my adoptees after first hour. I'm just so responsible. I finally managed to catch up with one of them after 2A and found them both locked out before 4A. All's well.

Band was...fun.

Today..or rather Saturday, wasn't all that great.

Got out of bed at 10 and went straight to a picnic. There were five dogs there, including Maggie. So I came home smelling like five different dogs with fur all over me.

Later we went to some other person's house for the evening. They had their Christmas tree up all year round. Very handy.

Went shopping with my fries yesterday. The shopping spree went from 6 hours..to 3 hours..to about 2 1/2 hours... I still managed to get something for Liz though. A genius gift! I wouldn't mind shooting miniature pigs at everybody. Or miniature chickens. Whichever.

First full day of band...

100 freshmen. 100 frickin freshmen! What the crap....

And none of them, absolutely none, knew how to follow directions. Kids these days. You tell them to turn right and they turn left...no sense of direction either. And the fact that they're all super duper tall.

Friday...

Woke up this morning ten minutes before 8 and remembered that I had a band meeting exactly ten minutes later. Ah well, can't be helped. But it was fun, cuz today we had to train the newbie percussionist. They looked so scared of us. MUAHAHHA oh the power of being old...
