I feel like I have spent the last week driving. Just back from taking mum home, well we took her home yesterday and came back to scotland today. It was a very proud day seeing how everyone reacted. A couple of the attacks were aimed at the finacial district so I should think they were trying to play havok wth the economy and the fact that it's barely dented it at all (yes, I did watch Working Lunch) if such a credit.

And yeah, it's excellent and a bit ironic that the British Spirit is still alive 60 odd years later!

Hope your leg/foot is feeling better soon! ♥x

It's that whole stiff upper lip thing isnt it?

And thank you my knee is feeling slightly better now, maybe a vodka or two will help numb the pain!

Sadly, we're sort of used to it. I'm just worried that they'll target buses now because they're gonna put xray machines at all train stations, but they can't really protect buses.
*hands you a bottle of Vin a la Joey's Dad for your knee*

Oh, having made the trip from Swindon-Glasgow a fair few times, I totally understand the bad knee and the feeling that you've been driving all week..

Although we all knew it was going to happen at some point, it doesn't make the attacks any less scary and shocking...I know the dread that I felt when I realised my dad was supposed to be at King's Cross but he was safe and well so I can't even begin to imagine how those who were there and have yet to find their loved ones must feel...

Yep. It's awful that it happened but I'm proud of the country for reacting as they did.
