I know it's too much to hope for, but I can't help clinging to the thought that enough middle of the road people will see all the insane, over the top and hateful ideas the Republicans have come up with and give Obama a huge victory in the next election. But of course our electorate has the memory of a pee and the critical thinking skills of a gnat so I'm basically living in fantasy land.
