Ah, well. Before I tell all a yous about RAGTIME, I'll just say that I had a good day today. And that Thomas has MAD MUSCLES. Like woah.
And that 'The Truman Show' is now one of my new favourite movies.
Agh. Agh agh and also agh. This show was NOT as good as I thought it would be.
A) Mother. OHMYGOODLORD I wanted to STRANGLE that girl. And, I mean, I KNEW that she wouldn't be as good as Marin, I wasn't even expecting that from the girl. But, honestly. Mother is one of the three main main characters. The actor should at least be able to sing well. This Mother acted like she was sixteen. "ZOMG You're a terrible person!!1" That was essentially this girl.
Also, I do not understand why the eleven o'clock number was more of a four-thrity number. Agh.
B) Father. Ok, Father was actaully pretty good. He was nicely played as a bitchy racist mo'fo'.
C) Younger Brother. He had a nice voice. See, the problem with that role is that it is essentially comprised of four things:
1. Masturbating to pictures of Evelyn Nesbit
2. Being emo and whiny
3. Blowing shit up
4. Yelling
Otherwise, not alot to go on.
D) Sarah. She was good on her own, but (and I'm paraphrasing a conversation that me and Teddy had), she had NO chemistry with Coalhouse. At least, not when they were singing together.
E) Coalhouse. He was OK. He had a nice voice at the beginning, but it knida deteriorated as time went on.
F) Tateh. Did not keep his accent. That is all.
G) Coalhouse Walker III. AWWWWWWWWWW. The little boy was three years old, and cute as EVER. He had a bobble on his cap.
FINIS.
