I got home from my grandmother's house today, went to check the mail, and OH NO. The Bradford pear trees are in bloom. These things are like my own personal kryptonite! They look very pretty, but they stink of dead fish when they bloom in the spring, and just seeing them today made my throat seize up, my sinuses scream, and a headache begin. I ( Read more... )

Pear trees that smell like dead fish? They sound... lovely. lol I get all itchy and throat-closey when I get around the Dogwoods here when they first bloom. Which is a shame because they're gorgeous.

Hee hee, my sis and I also love Peeps. I actually saw THE Peepmobile in OKC once! It was crazy - a huge Peep on top of a van.
