Patience is a virtue.

The past few Thursdays have REALLY felt like Friday, but of course they aren't. That really sucks!

The bouncy excitement about my date has worn off. I'll probably get excited again when he calls back and actually sets the plans.

*sigh* My life is boring, huh?

Looking at houses tonight...

The guy called last night. Yay! We're most likely going out on Saturday. I have a wedding that evening, and he has stuff that he has to do during the day, but he said he'd check and see if we could do something mid-day. Needless to say, I'm excited... and I am a dork ( Read more... )

So I spent the past couple of weeks trying to upgrade my Norton Antivirus and Firewall for the year, conveniently packaged as "Norton Internet Security." I ordered it online. Ok. So now I'm pre-qualified for a home loan (YAY) and ready to search. Gads! Unfortunately I look at the crime reports, too, which makes me nervous. I have a friend that lives in an area that the crime rate seems to be higher, but he said that it's a safe area. I don't want to buy a house in an unsafe area! So much to consider.

I've been sitting here waiting to take my dog to the vet (and be able to leave work). Unfortunately I called the vet and my appointment isn't until tomorrow.

So I'm thinking about buying a house. My lease ends June 30th, and I'm either going to renew or move into a house-like environment. Thumbing through the classifieds, I discovered that it's actually cheaper to buy a house than it is to rent one. Wow, the weekend went way too fast! Sunday was jampacked! I went to church and then to the Norman Medieval Fair with Chris. It was fun as usual, but holy carp, the wind was blowing hay and dirt everywhere! My feet were so dirty (gross) and I kept having stuff fly in my eyes, even though I was wearing sunglasses!
