[It probably hasn't escaped the attention of any familiar residents, that Sokka's already found himself feeling a little less useful than usual. Sure, he's pretty good at settling down amidst all the craziness, but that doesn't mean he's particularly comfortable with his level of usefulness. Or, in this case, uselessness.]

[About ten minutes later he shows up with some smoked meat, a little bag full of berries, and his own fishing gear that he had made not too long ago. He sits down next to Sokka and hands him the snacks.]

[Sokka immediately looks through the offered snacks, very pleased at the choices.]

Hm? [He glances down at the water and shakes his head.] Just a lot of bait stealers. Someone suggested worms over the network, but I don't feel much like digging after all the time I spent capturing the minnows. [Ahh, "shop talk." Gotta love it!]
