I am really, really excited about this movie.

Four hours long! But it has won all sorts of awards and everyone says it is completely deserving of the length.

Wishing it was on DVD, but I'll be sure to go to the July 3rd premiere.

Haha, apparently it was (maybe still is) packing the theaters with teenagers for three months-- maybe the cuteness of the cast has something to do with that. :)

But it's such a great premise, too! And so cinematic and... epic in a sweetly absurd way!

I've seen two of his other movies. Exte was alright. It could've been a lot better, but it had some brilliant moments. Suicide Club was not good at all. But, as a fan of Miike and Herzog I understand how someone can be brilliant and still turn out (in my mind) deeply flawed stuff. So that's only two of 'em.

The preview and the accolades have me convinced!

Also, according to the official website (linked to it above) it's due out late July in Japan... I'll probably buy it.
