Oh WOW! How on earth did you do those ghosty ones? They're beautiful!
Also, from what little I've seen of him, Erik really looks like his sister!

And, I know I've asked you this question before, but what cameraaaaa do you uuuuse?

yes erik and his sister look soooo much alike, it's very scary sometimes, they've been mistaken for twins

i use a nikon d70
but all the ones one of me erik took with his canon digital rebel (i think?)

the ghost pics were done with long exposure, i would set the shutterspeed to 30 seconds, and i would stand in the frame for 15 seconds and then leave it and then erik would stand there for 15 seconds and then leave :)

hi, i followed over from your post in selfportraits. the "tracing with lights" photo, was that just a long exposure and then "traced" by running a flashlight around your bodies? how slowly did you have to move the light?... and then did you step out of the frame, or remove yourself from it -- photoshopping a second photo into it to remove your bodies?

sorry for all the questions, but that is a very very cool effect. i'd very much like to try it out. :)

heyy, no problem, i didn't photoshop it at all actually, this is what i did:

I set the tripod up with the camera and set the shutterspeed to 30 seconds. I stood in the frame for 15 seconds and my boyfriend traced me with a little squeeze flashlight thing very quickly, then stood next to me, and then i traced him with the little flashlight thing for 15 seconds very quickly and that was it. it took a few tries. the little flashlight thing wasn't an actual flashlight but one of those key chain things that if you squeeze it the light turns on, and it's very small, i find those are the best. let me know if you have any more questions. i hope that helped.

the "flashlight" was probably an LED light. those things are bright! 15 seconds isn't much time to trace, so I can imagine how fast the flashlight had to move. Thanks for the tutorial :) .. I may have to play around with this idea a bit. it's just too cool not to try...
