The rain is a good thing. It's used commonly in literature as a sign of a cleansing or rebirth or both sometimes. It's a good thing. Except in gratuitous amounts.

but the rain can kill and ruin a basketball game or flood a house.....now sun showers in the summer i like...in fact i love
