I'm wondering how soon we get to a "last one to leave turn out the lights" situation here on lj - it can't be long now. In the meantime, I've added The Angriest into my rss accumulator.

Interestingly several of the communities I'm a part of are still going strong and their equivilent interest groups on things like dreamwidth are hardly used. I think it comes down to what you are interested in. I have one friend who I'm interested in following who uses other sites without crosspostings and a couple who do crosspost. But the majority of people who I go "oh gee them having a blog is a great way of seeing what they are up to and what their views are" I can still access via my lj friendpage.

That's true - I'm on a couple of communties as well that don't seem to be slowing down any.

Did Dreamwidth really take on with that many people at all?
