Getting my eyes examed is a nightmare for me.

Same thing with my husband. He has refused to get his eyes looked at and he refuses to take ME to get MY eyes looked at. Unfortunately this means my contact lens perscription expired eons ago.

I hate the drops they put in your eyes, and when they check the pressure in your eye with the little puffs of air....

My eye doctor will either do the puffs OR the eyedrops. I prefer the drops. Frank would rather have the puffs. That is the most stressful point of the exam for me. I hate the Glaucoma tests!!

Ive just always had this fear of the eye doctor. Im trying to find a way out of it, but i know it has to be done. I guess ill never be wearing contacts.

I used to be really unnerved by the eye doctor too, but then I started to have to see him every few weeks because my eyes went nuts. My script was changing every month. Nothing like constantly being exposed to that man to make you less afraid.
