Rosie seems hypocritical--she was up in arms defending Clay Aiken's sexuality and other gay issues, but when confronted with her own "mistakes" just blows them off.

I was surprised she got away with it with so little fuss, but then again, she is much louder than everyone else so maybe that explains it...

There was fuss, actually I think an Asian-American NY City Councilman attempted to start talks with her with some other community leaders. But I don't think it got much traction outside the Asian-American community. Most white liberals are really pathetic about "getting" this particular type of racism.

Right, I know there was discussion of it, but it was "little fuss" compared to the publicity she and Donald Trump have created for themselves, or the whole defend-Clay Aiken-feud with Kelly Ripa that all the entertainment shows went on and on about. So thats what I meant, not that there weren't people who were concerned about it.

Or, god forbid, the dang Isaiah Washington thing. I guess perhaps the gays are having their moment of ruling the roost and dividing and conquering proceeds apace w/r/t anyone else's issues.

(Keeping in mind of course that race does affect gays, but not the ones setting the agenda in the MSM... I am gay btw but I don't align myself with those people.)
