hi there.. my name is ty (i'm female though), i'm 24 in the columbus, ohio area (sorry, i went to ohio state for a couple years ;-)). i got to see Tristan open for Howie Day here in columbus back in November, and she was really fantastic. i'm also a taper so i recorded her set and i've been listening to it a lot since then, as well as some of her other live shows that are up on archive.org. "Mike" is probably my favorite song of hers, though there are so many good ones. i was also really impressed that she personally approves which shows of hers get put up on archive.org... i sent her a copy of the show i taped but i'm sure she's busy now so i haven't heard back about it yet.

i'm definitely looking forward to her full album coming out at some point, as well as seeing her live again sometime! :-)

Thanks so much for telling me about archive.com! I found a couple of songs that I didn't have yet :) I've been listening non-stop....addicting.

hey Louisa, my name is Laura. i'm 19 and i go to Hamline University (in minnesota). uhh i basically started liking tristan because of jason mraz, i fell in love with the song 'shy that way,' and then i couldn't get enough of her. i went to a howie day concert specifically because she was opening and i was pretty much her biggest fan there everyone else was like tristan prettyman wtf? they were kinda mean about her- i was pretty pissed so i stood up for triz and it was amazing, i totally love her.

btw i am so happy you started this community, its really exciting, i hope it does well and that we can keep it really active.

Hey there Louisa! I gotta admitt, I'm a newbie to the whole community, but way stoked to join. Let's see, I'm 15 (youngin right here) and I've seen Tristan two times, both with G.Love. I can't wait for her new stuff to come out--her music is awesome, and she puts on a great show, too. If you hear any shows comin to AZ (i know that way out in the doonies compared to where you live :)) let me know! Thanks!!

Hey Louisa. My name is Patrick. I'm 17 and live in western mass. I saw Tristan when she opened for howie day and dashboard up at dartmouth and i fell in love. a lot of the people in the crowd were pretty rough to her, but I thought she was awesome. I hope she comes to New England again!
