Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains Finale
OK, so 20th season of Survivor is over. Time to review what I wrote earlier.
I'm going to save my comments on the final three for the end so if you haven't seen the finale, you won't have any spoilers.
Rupert - None of my comments mattered. He was a Hero who got voted off because he was just the minority and the villains were too united.
Danielle - Again, didn't care about her over a month ago, still don't. Not surprised she didn't make it.
Colby - I was right on here. He didn't make it, the villains knew they couldn't take him to the final so he had to go. I think his early game sucked too bad to make him stronger so his tribe could win some up front.
Amanda - Probst made mention that she just didn't have the killer instinct. My comment was "I'm not sure she has the cunning and ruthlessness to go up against the likes of Parvati, Russell, and Courtney. I wouldn't count on seeing her in the Final Four." Badabing! Who's the man? This guy.
Jerri - Said I doubt she'd make it to the Final Four but I was wrong! She did much better than I expected and I agree with my wife that she seems to have matured as a person. Not as much of a hard edge.
JT - It turned bad for him, but not quite in the way I thought. Still didn't make it to the final four.
Coach - Said he'd never make it and he didn't. And folks, no WAY he's a "Christian man".
Candice - I'm kind of surprised she didn't make it to at least final three with the way she could play in challenges.
Courtney - I said her game wasn't strong enough and indeed it wasn't.
Parvati - She made it to the finals as I expected. She admitted her ties to Russell probably hurt her, but I do see her point that he was the only one willing to bring her along.
Russell - Made it to the finals as I predicted. Didn't get a single vote...AGAIN. The dude just doesn't get it. And yes, I think that Rob would beat Russell in a different game of Survivor.
Sandra - Our million dollar winner. She played a smart game. My final statement a month ago "Ride them coattails until you get in position to do your thang." And she did!
Overall I think it was a great season. One of the best they've ever had.
