Girl, the whole thing put together is even longer than that. It's at 29,241, and I'm still editing it, deleting and adding stuff.

I'm happy you like it! I had an epiphany about Stefan as I wrote that paragraph about him being fundamentally unable to 1)make excuses to Bonnie (because he made excuses to Jeremy and Tyler, wrt Vicky and Mason) and 2)beg for his life. Stefan can't beg for his life! I don't know if Damon can, but Stefan definitely can't. In my head, this scene with Bonnie is the most Stefan's had to deal with someone not looking the other way since he went on his summer rampage.

I'm posting the last 3 chapters by tonight, so keep a look out!
