Smallville Season 2 Rewatch: Chloe and Lana establish a friendship.
My Lana feels took a hit in season 2. She didn't shine in this season as much as she did in season 1. She had her moments, but she didn't ping as much. She was mired in Clana crap. Actually, Chloe jumped at me in season 2 more than Lana did. Clark did too, but I'll expand on them later. The thing that hit me early in the season was the scene where

I feel like the writers eventually grew less interested in giving Chloe and Lana friendship scenes and from what I remember, the distance starts in season 3. I think seasn 2 is the closest they've ever been depicted as being.
