So, this was written for love_is_epic's birthday, after THIS little comment, which, for some reason, I took as a challenge of sorts. It was supposed to be a short and sweet one shot, and it turned into a 7,000+ word monster. Go figure.

I love the attitude of disdain, almost, that Casey has for Lilly. It's nice to know that not everyone was always under her spell even though she'd like to think so.

This whole first chapter was very cute and well done. I love the way you've set things up for the future.

*hee* In my mind he's known her since kindergarten, and over the years has witnessed some of her unglamorous moments with an unbiased eye.

Um, pardon me. How is it that even with my deep and abiding love of Casey I have never, ever heard of/read/seen this fic? seven chapters? Of Casey and Veronica? Oh where have you been all my life? lol. I really enjoyed the first one, from Caseys casual disdain of Lilly to his noticing and figuring out the way everyone feels about things. I'm off to read the rest of the chapters.

*hee* Could be 'cuz I just wrote it two weeks ago! Having written it, my Casey-love has been renewed and I'm itching to write more...if only there wasn't that pesky thesis to work on...
