Aww you killed off Logan *tears*. I am intrigued as to where this going. I think all the chapters so far have been nicely written and I'm enjoying the Veronica/Casey interaction :)

He moved closer to block the wind and his actions brought him closer to the grave marker. His eyes widened in shock as he read the name engraved there. “Logan?”

^Oh.My.God. You did it... you really killed Logan. And you only gave them four years together. *wails* I guess I should have expected it but it doesn't make it hurt any less.

I love how Veronica was all in P.I. mode about Jayson. She just can't help it no matter the circumstances.

You could totally pretend that Casey is ADHD and the only way he can get the girl is if you cure him with the power of your completed thesis. How's that for motivation ; )

*sobs* I wasn't expecting Logan to die D: I don't know what I thought would happen in the future, but that wasn't it. Poor Veronica! At least Casey was there to comfort her.

Ah, you must not have read my little author's note. It was all love_is_epic's fault, I swear. She practically dared me to. (She'll deny it, but that won't make it not true! ; P)

I did feel bad doing it, though...if that helps any.

Don't listen to her candlewaxdreams. She's just trying to absolve herself of the wrath of the LoVe shippers : ) You know I would never do that to Logan ; )

Poor Casey, though. Since we never give him any love, I might be inclined to include him in my next fic. He'll get the girl - just not V. hee!

Thanks! He's actually modelled after my son, although the train fixation is a nod to my nephew. I'm glad you're enjoying the story. I really enjoyed writing it, and this is by far my favorite chapter!

Wow. What a fantastic development. I like the introduction of Jayson. But um, excuse me, Logan is dead and it was all very sudden. What was all very sudden?! I want cause of death ("I'll give you a Kierkegaard t-shirt." Name that show), explanations! Lol. Okay, lets see how this all wraps up.

Sorry! No explanations here! I have my reasons (and they're spelled out in the comments to the next chapter). Glad you like Jayson. He's modeled (more than a bit) after my son, and how he was when my grandfather (and our dog) died. 'Cept for the looks. He's all copper-hair and freckles. He does have his mother's eyes though! ; )
