As you put aside your anti-English stance for Spurs on my behalf, so shall I put away my other-side-of-town bias and root for Barcelona on your behalf. Such is the power of Real Madrid. (And my love for you, but, you know. Mostly my loathing of Real Madrid. :p)

You know, I wouldn't be cheering for Barca half so hard if I didn't hate Real so much. I mean, despite the fact that I have grown more than fond of Guardiola and several of the players, I still don't like Barca as a club. But ooooooh, do I hate Real Madrid. Far, far more than I will ever dislike Barca and their pretentious smugness. And I absolutely loathe Mourinho. It's really not a good combination.
