He's actually not doing too badly! I am quite impressed. Now Italy just need to win... And get thoroughly trounced by Germany in the semis, of course. I want another Spain-Germany final!

I'm kinda hoping for Italy to go through to the semis, too, because that seems like the more interesting match. On the other hand I tread the public reaction - 90% of anyone interested in football in Germany still appears to think they "owe" us something from 2006. *shakes head*
