Beijing's opening ceremony was considerably more awesome. Also, I could figure out what was going on.

The news tells me Danny Boyle directed it? I dunno if that explains everything.

I can't believe they let Danny Boyle do the NHS thing. I mean - woah. They gave him the biggest soapbox in the world and then they let him hold up a placard saying, "NHS rocks!"
