Well, I got my first graduate school acceptance today, from UBC Vancouver. I'm surprised to have heard back so soon. And what's more apparently they want to pay for me to take a trip to see the department next month, should be fun

congrats! UBC is beautiful - I lived on the campus for a summer back in the day. it was the only time in my life I could hear the waves crashing where I lived.
