Love is a myth, so is friendship

Today I play my song of angst. After 20 years of existence, I should know that there has to be no emotional investment in friendship, because people you consider friends can never ever match-up nor replicate what you do for them. And you just end up sad because you listen to them, you tell them the truth, but they cannot do the same for you
