This, and i generally dislike and resent the sorts of people who make a fuss about poor customer service publicly; I just feel like get over it -there's bigger shit to worry about.

I agree. And ultimately the kid at Wendy's that fucks up you order isn't going to see the light and work any harder. There's no incentive for him to.
