"Breaking Bad" is better than anything else on television right now. Season 3 is shaping up to be one of the best seasons of television I've ever seen. I'll put it up against anything. Last night I jumped out of my seat and screamed at the television set.

Vampires suck. True Blood is good. Hollywood is dead.

Now I'm sorry.

Hey Jack. Good to see you again. Don't worry, I understand the need to test the limits of the palette. You might have good taste, but sometimes you just have to know what insipid really tastes like. It's also a morale boost--a killer of doubts over your own writing. Keep up the posts.

Very entertaining and not aweful. Hollywood is maddeningly terrible. Every once in a while somebody's sleeping on the job and a good idea slips through the cracks unnoticed, but for the most part it seems like our movies are made by uncreative people mechanically trying to reverse-engineer and reassemble past financial successes, which are typically the ones that slipped through the cracks before. Sometimes they're Transformers though...
