Last Wednesday night, we lost Mema.

She was my grandmother, my absolute favorite person in the world.

It was sudden; and it was quick.  AND my family was with her; we did everything we could for her.  But it wasn't meant to be.

So sorry for your loss, Ang. I know how very much Mema meant to you. I lost my favorite aunt a few years ago and there was this huge hole in my chest for so long afterwards. The pain finally went away, but the missing never really does. I think of her all the time, like I'm sure you will with Mema. Hugs and prayers for you and your family.
