So, I'm curious. If you read, do you read contemporaries? What do you look for in a contemporary romance or story?

This is will about what I don't like, mostly, because that's easier to narrow down

I read almost 100% contemporary. I like military inspired, or spy/FBI/CIA.. I like men and women who are both strong and have flaws..

I hate contrived situations/stupid misunderstandings that lead to uberangst. (they need to be appropriate response if that makes sense) I prefer outside conflict (running from the bad guy etc.)

No fall in love at first sight, attraction? sure.
