Thunder and rain

No lightening that I have seen. But it is a relief to have at least one day off watering the veggies. I guess we are staying inside today. We have a craft project to do in a bit for Gabe's bday and lots of chores. We may hit the dollar store today too. I need buckets for the craft project the kids will be doing at his party. Gabe is a Nature Boy! I wish we had lightening, thunder and torrents of rain. We got barely 1/8th inch last night, if that. :( It is dark and overcast today and we are all praying for rain. I hand watered last night after dinner, but the garden needs rain water with the nitrogen in it to thrive, not piped in water. PHOOEY! I can't wait to see Gabe's birthday party pics!

I was driving to work with the lightning and I felt the thunder in my car. I counted the seconds between the flash & thunder, it was 2 seconds. Holy crap it was a little freaky!
