Its used more to grab attention.
Rapes happen every day, but unless its a serial spree, or someone famous is accused of it, you never hear about it.
I'm not alone in seeing the photos of the girl in the Kobe (named after a type of BEEF for crying out loud!) Bryant case.
It won't be a question of innocense or guilt when the case is closed.
The news will always use the word to make something as innocuous as a music sub-genre or sub-culture, sound like Satan is coming up out of the ground to take over.
It ain't the "devil's" fault people have no idea how to raise their children with a fcking brain.
