It seems that the other person who was scheduled for the preliminary interview yesterday never showed, which means I go on to the next round by default (yay). I don't actually have 'official' word of this yet as the supervisor who's taking care of it was out today. My friend, however, was in and I actually talked with him. So, tomorrow I should be

Take every advantage, but don't take it for granted. My best advice is always to focus on (ask about) how you can help the company be more productive and successful, NOT what the company is going to offer you. There's plenty of time to express your desires after they have convinced themselves that YOU are their favorite guy.
