order matters!

you have to mix all the dry stuff together separately and all the wet stuff (and sugar) together separately and then mix those two together. it has something to do with the chemistry of how the cookies rise, with the baking powder/soda (assuming you put in baking powder/soda?) i am not sure how it works but this is what my mom said :)
