I apologize for not being around. I've taken a hiatus from writing fanfic for a while, as I attempt to write some original fiction. This is just a vignette I wrote a few months ago, and I thought those who enjoyed my Helen Conover stories might be interested.

It's beautiful and sad and haunting, and I like it even though I think I'm missing a good deal of the back story. Still great, though ;)
