Very interesting little tale. Mystique is a sadistic little minx, alright--her attitudes here are very fitting, I think. (And poor Toad! He's my favorite of the Brotherhood mutants.)

I've always wished I could come up with a story or two involving the Brotherhood, but my muses have just got nothin' there. :Þ

Hi! It's great to be able to post here, lol. I've wanted to for quite a while, and praise the Lord, I was finally able to finish the story. I got the idea about the time I first read your fics. :) I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

Mystique really is sadistic, and surprisingly fun to write, lol. She is cruel to poor Toad, but it backfires on her as well... (I couldn't let her get away with it completely, lol. ;) )

I hope sometime you will be able to write a fic for the Brotherhood. I'd love to see your take on them! Especially Toad, lol. There isn't enough Toad fan fiction. :)
