I just finished reading a novel,Lewi's Journey by Per Olov Enquist, that was surprisingly good, despite what might seem like unpromising subject matter (a study of two leaders of the early to mid 20th century Swedish Pentecostal movement) and an unusual narrative format. Well, that does sound like quite a book. I am not sure I would have chosen it to read but I'm glad you enjoyed it.

I buy books at a discount book store, so the selection is eclectic. I chose not to buy this one several times before I chose to buy it. I was a bit surprised that I got interested in it.
