Oh my god, I don't think I'm going to offer The Lion King, but I just wanted to say, SO MUCH WORD. It is possibly my favorite movie of all time and I recently took my Little Sister (like, mentor program; not bio) to see it and AHHHHH, I just love it so much, it's so GOOD!!!!! and I love Nala. And Simba is weirdly hot for an animated lion (when he grows up and is all swaggery!!!)...oh god, please don't judge me. It's probably because he sings. :| /sucker for people who sing

HIGH SCHOOL AU? HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL AU????? Oh my gosh, I never even IMAGINED these, please someone write them...

You should watch 1 1/2; I think you'd like it. It is basically a lot of fond mocking of the original; it's punny and delightful and you sound like you'd enjoy that sort of thing! <3

Omigosh, I can't believe someone made it through the letter. I feel like I should give you a medal.

I hope your Little Sister loved it! I just about cried when my niece told me she enjoyed it. And I definitely won't judge you for the Simba thing. Animation does things to your hotness radar. Plus, as you said, singing. Mmm. (Luckily, we went late on a Tuesday near the end of the run and there were two other people there. Because my sister and I kept bursting into song. Horribly out-of-tune song.)

I was just writing ideas and then I was like, "Every fandom needs a high school AU! Wait, this is Disney! HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL! Oh lord, why do I actually want this?"

I want to watch 1 1/2. I think it came out when I was too old to watch Disney movies but young enough to care people would think I was too old. Nowadays, I guess I have to keep an eye out for whether it's 'in the vault' or not. (Oh, Disney, ilu.)

I don't know what "in the vault" is? but I LOVE THE LION KING AND ALSO YOUR LETTER, IT'S ALL GOOD. I am also massively prone to rambling on and on and on which I am going to try to not do this year. >>

Disney releases and rereleases movies for a limited time (for artificial scarcity), and many commercials warn that a certain movie is about to go back in the vault. (Thus, for Disney, in the vault = out of print.)

Just wait until I edit in the end ramble about tropes and such that I like! I don't know what happened; I've been concise in the past. But I'll be happy if I'm not the only one who rambles on and on.

Lion King High School/High School Musical AU? I had not realized I needed this in my life! I really hope someone writes this for you.

I'm surprised people are responding to that idea! Who knew there was an audience for Lion King High School (Musical) AU fic? (Clearly, I did, for I am an evil genius.)

(You're welcome! I'm sorry I couldn't have magically made myself healthy, but hopefully the medicine enhanced the process. At least, now that you've read this letter, you know the fairytale wouldn't have been much more sane even if I had been in my right mind.)
