hi, i'm changing my default so i posted again- this one should show the icon i'm talking about. if you can help, great; if not, that's ok. :)

Sorry, I am not sure what would make it do something like that, never had that problem before. You are talking about the icon you are using as default in this post, correct? If so, I made two versions of that icon, one had a solid line border, and the other had a more grungey looking one. So perhaps, something could have happened with the file names and such.

it was really strange though- i'd been using it as my default for months with the border like your icon there (i actually wasn't even aware it had a border), then one day i logged in and the border had changed from smooth to rough; somehow it's also changed on the one on the hard drive. would you possibly be able to send me a link to another copy, with the smooth border?
